Cookie Notice
This Cookie Notice describes how Window Shopper, LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on our public website and within the authenticated retailer Service. It supplements our Privacy & GDPR Policy.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website.
Cookies allow the website to recognize your device across visits. Similar
technologies include localStorage and service-worker caches,
which we also use sparingly and in a first-party capacity only.
What we use, and why
Strictly necessary — always on
- An authentication cookie that keeps retailer staff logged into the administrative application after magic-link sign-in.
- A session cookie that preserves the staff application's active store and preferences.
- A browser
localStorageentry on display devices to persist the device-specific pairing identifier, so that a display that reloads does not require re-pairing.
Legal basis: strictly necessary for the Service to function, pursuant to Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive.
Functional — no analytics tracking
We do not use third-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.) on our public website. Interaction logs are captured via our own first-party pipeline for debugging and operational monitoring purposes only; they do not track you across other websites and are not shared with advertising networks.
Marketing — none
We do not set or permit any advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking cookies.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you delete cookies already on your device and block new cookies from being set. Refer to your browser's documentation for instructions. Please note that blocking the strictly necessary cookies above will prevent the retailer application from functioning.
